Born in Jackson, MS in 1979, Drew Lantrip moved to Portland, OR in 1991. After teaching English in Japan from 2005 to 2006, he moved to Florence, Italy where he studied classical drawing and oil painting at the Florence Academy of Art from 2007 to 2009. He is currently painting portraits and landscapes in Florence.
